World Class Skiing

If you love to ski you most likely hope to take a ski
holiday to a world class resort at some point. There are
several to consider. Take some time to plan a trip, be
determined, and you can get there.
Aspen in Colorado is one such coveted skiing destination.
There is a run there for skiers of all levels on one of the
four mountains. If you~re an expert skier you~ll want to
try one of the back runs in the wild terrain of the largest
mountain.
North America has yet another great ski resort, this time
located in Quebec, Canada. Mont-Tremblant is eastern
Canada~s finest ski resort that recently had a billion
dollar makeover. After you~re done skiing the slopes
you~ll want to take a side trip into the city of Montreal
which is just an hour away. Montreal is an historic and
beautiful city that has a multitude of things for you to do
when you~re not skiing.
There are two other excellent places to ski in Canada.
Banff and Lake Louise are must-visits. Both offer great
skiing and outstanding natural beauty. They are only 25
miles apart so it would be easy to experience both areas.
If Europe is your dream ski destination, make a trip to
Cortina, Italy. The ski resort hosted the 1956 winter
Olympics and is still a favorite place for Europeans to
ski. It~s situated in the Alps and offers gorgeous scenery
as well as fabulous skiing.
Kitzbuhel, Austria is one of the most lively ski resorts
you~ll ever find. It actually hosted the Winter Olympic
games twice; 1964 and 1976. Its nickname is ~Pearl of the
Alps~ since it~s such a treasure. Skiers have been going
there since at least 1892.
Whistler/Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada is
considered to be the best place to ski worldwide. Whistler
village at the base of the mountains is open year round. It
offers dining and partying in restaurants and cafes (over
100). You can ski all day and go out in the evening for a
good meal which will help you look forward even more to the
following day of skiing.
With all these and many other choices of world class ski
resorts, it~s time to get busy planning your next ski
vacation.
